A crowd of hundreds showed up Sunday for a concert to benefit a family involved in a fatal Oklahoma car crash.
Last month Eric Stutts’ son, 5 year-old Adam Stutts was killed when an allegedly drunk driver crashed into the family’s car last month. Adam’s younger sister Avery was seriously injured in the accident; she remains in the hospital. The Stutts have mounting medical bills and do not have health insurance.
Friends put together a fundraiser concert to raise money for the family. The concert was held at the Oklahoma City Farmer’s Market. Organizers estimate the event raised between $3,000 and $4,000.
Eric Stutts’ uncle Bryan said of the event, “you see this kind of stuff on the news all the time and you think wow that’s really kind of sad, but whenever it happens to your family members it really hits home.”
